P.F. Changs Review
4551 Virginia Beach Blvd
When it comes to Chinese cuisine, few places can stand up to P.F. Chang’s China Bistro . A self-proclaimed ‘fine China bistro,’ Chang’s offers a variety of delicious entrees, appetizers, and desserts.
Philip Chang was born in Shanghai and grew up in Tokyo, before relocating to San Francisco. In the early 1960s, his mother opened, The Mandarin, one of the first Chinese restaurants in the United States to serve Chinese food from regions other than Canton. The Mandarin became widely known for its high-end cuisine and eventually led to a second location in Beverly Hills.
Located in Town Center you’ll love the beautiful ambiance and wait staff. You’ll cast your eyes on murals of ancient Chinese battles and individually lit, intimate booths line the walls. The menu offers everything from vegetarian dishes, to duck, to more traditional Chinese dishes. In 2010, P.F. Chang’s wine program went “green” with the creation of VINEYARD 518, a new custom wine label offering two varietals; a Sauvignon Blanc and Syrah Blend. In partnership with Wattle Creek Winery, P.F. Chang’s opted for earth-friendly packaging for these wines.
